Single jersey is a smooth, fine knit (the same as used in standard T-shirts). Single jersey polo shirts are lighter, softer to the touch and well suited for warmer summer days or for employees on the move who require maximum fabric drape.

Standard polo shirts are made from 100% cotton with a typical pique structure (honeycomb weave), which ensures excellent breathability. For hot summer days or employees on the move, lighter weights in the 170–180 g/m² range are a good fit, as are models blended with polyester or elastane — these increase stretch and reduce creasing. For premium management and representative purposes we recommend higher weights of 200–220 g/m² made from specially combed cotton, which feel substantial, have a luxurious hand feel and hold the collar shape exceptionally well even after many dozens of wash cycles.

For field employees, logistics and service teams, polo shirts in a cotton-polyester blend (mixed fabrics) are more suitable. Polyester improves shape retention, the shirt dries faster, colours resist fading in sunlight and the fabric withstands more demanding industrial washing.
