Promotional tokens with custom print or embossing are a small yet remarkably effective marketing tool with a guaranteed practical value. They are most commonly used as coin substitutes for shopping trolleys in supermarkets, making them an indispensable item for every driver and shopper. They also have a firm place in event marketing — at festivals and concerts they function as festival currency (consumable tokens for food and drinks), which speeds up service at bars and eliminates the need to handle cash.

Our tokens are produced in the precise dimensions of standard European coins (typically the size of a 1 EUR coin or common national equivalents). They are manufactured from rigid ABS plastic in a wide range of colours, from lightweight aluminium, or from premium solid metal with a chrome or nickel-plated finish. For eco-conscious branding we also offer wooden and bamboo tokens. To keep the token within easy reach at all times, it is most commonly integrated into a practical metal or plastic keyring holder with a carabiner or magnetic release mechanism, from which the token is easily detached before use.

Trolley coins are exposed to constant friction in pockets, contact with keys, and the mechanical stress of being inserted into trolley locks. For plastic coins, precision pad printing with UV-cured inks is the standard solution. For metal, aluminium and wooden variants, laser engraving is clearly the most suitable technology — it creates a permanent, detailed relief directly within the material. For large production runs of festival coins, a popular choice is direct embossing of the logo into the plastic during injection moulding, where the logo is raised (embossed) and has the same lifespan as the coin itself.
