A classic writing set contains 2 pieces — a ballpoint pen and a rollerball, optionally a mechanical pencil or fountain pen. Premium editions include 3 pieces in a unified design. The set is complemented by a gift box (metal, wood, leather or premium paper) with a lining of velvet or imitation silk, which protects the pens from scratches and looks premium when opened. Accessories may include a spare refill, a certificate of authenticity (with luxury brands) and a leather pouch for carrying the pen in a briefcase. We offer three tiers: affordable sets (metal pens in a paper box), mid-tier (pens in a metal box with lining) and luxury editions with brands such as Parker, Waterman or Cross in leather boxes.

A writing set is a timeless gift suited to the most formal occasions. Anniversaries of cooperation with a client (5, 10, 15 years) — a set engraved with the client name and the date of the anniversary. Jubilees of important employees (work anniversaries of 10, 20, 30 years) — a traditional gift from the employer. Signing of a major contract — a luxury set as a symbolic gift after closing the deal, the pen used to sign the contract. Christmas gifts for top management and VIP clients. Promotions and graduations as corporate gifts for traineeship programme alumni. For representation with foreign partners — quality pens are an internationally recognised symbol of respect. Avoid the writing set as a mass gift — it loses the premium character that is its main value.

Personalisation is key for writing sets — it is what turns a pen into a real gift. Standard engraving covers a company logo on the body of the pen using laser technology (the cost covers preparation of the template and the engraving of all pieces in the set). Personalised engraving — the recipient name on the body of the pen, a higher level of premium feel for a small surcharge. Box engraving — the company logo on the outer side of the wooden or metal box, making it feel like a collector item. Accompanying certificate — a printed certificate with the company logo and a message about the occasion of the gift, placed inside the box. For luxury editions we recommend a combination of all three levels of personalisation. Note: with some branded sets (Parker, Waterman) engraving may not be possible on every model — we always check compatibility in advance.

A ballpoint pen has a fixed ball at the tip, writes with standard oil-based ink, is versatile, does not smear and lasts a long time — ideal for everyday writing in the field. A rollerball uses liquid gel or water-based ink, writes more smoothly and thicker like a fountain pen, but without the maintenance — ideal for everyday writing with greater comfort on quality paper. A fountain pen has a metal nib and an internal ink reservoir, requires care (cleaning, suitable paper) and is a true writing instrument for demanding users and collectors. For a corporate set, the most popular combination is a ballpoint and a rollerball — it covers daily writing (ballpoint) and more formal occasions (rollerball). Fountain pens are suitable only for top management and collectors, most people no longer use them daily.

The box accounts for half the impression of the gift — do not skimp on it. A paper box with a sturdy structure and a magnetic closure is suitable for mid-tier sets, with full-colour logo printing on the outside. A wooden box of bamboo, oak or walnut with an engraved logo is an elegant eco choice — the recipient is happy to keep it even after taking the pen out, turning it into a storage box for small items. A metal box with a polished or matte surface looks modern, often with a magnetic closure. A leather box or pouch is the premium classic for luxury editions. Always check the inner lining — velvet or imitation silk in a contrasting colour highlights the pen on opening. For VIP clients we recommend wooden boxes with the client name engraved — they feel collectible and personal.
