How do I choose a promotional bag or backpack for corporate purposes?
The choice depends on the intended use and target audience. For trade fairs and events, we recommend cotton tote bags or non-woven promotional bags — they are very affordable, offer a large print area and continue to be used well beyond the event. For everyday employee use, opt for quality polyester backpacks with padded laptop compartments. For VIP clients, choose leather briefcases or premium backpacks from well-known brands such as Dynamic, Tucano or Burton. For sports events, drawstring gymsacks and sports bags are ideal.
Which printing technology works best for bags and backpacks?
The most common method is screen printing for single- or multi-colour logos on cotton and polyester bags — it delivers vivid coverage even across large surfaces at a very accessible price point. For full-colour prints with photographs and gradients, we use sublimation printing (applicable to 100% polyester only) or DTG (direct-to-garment digital printing). Embroidery is the premium solution for corporate backpacks and bags — it looks high-end and withstands years of washing. Transfer printing suits small runs and complex logos. Pad printing is used for plastic elements on bags such as clips and buckles.
What features should a modern corporate backpack have for hybrid work?
A modern corporate backpack should include: a padded laptop compartment for 13–17" laptops, a USB charging port with an internal connector for a power bank, water-resistant material or a waterproof zip, an RFID-blocking pocket for cards and passports, ergonomic padded straps for all-day wear, and an organiser section for small accessories and cables. A top trend is an integrated MagSafe pocket for wireless phone charging. For business travellers, a luggage pass-through strap on the back panel is a highly appreciated feature. These functions elevate the backpack into a genuine employee benefit — not just a promotional item.
What is the minimum order quantity for printed bags and what are the lead times?
Minimum order quantities for printed bags and backpacks vary by product type and printing technology. For cotton bags and non-woven fabric bags the minimum is typically 50 pieces; for polyester backpacks from 25 pieces; for premium branded backpacks often from just 10 pieces. The standard production lead time with printing is 7–14 working days; embroidery can take up to 21 days as it requires preparation of an embroidery programme. For express orders on in-stock models we can complete printing in 3–5 working days for a surcharge. Without printing we ship by the next day, and personal pickup is available immediately from our warehouse near Prague.
